The Geospatial World Forum is back this May in Rotterdam (The Netherlands), with four days dedicated to geospatial data in all its facets.
The event will take place on 2 – 5 May 2023 at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre WTC Rotterdam and will bring together the geospatial community, including governments, public sector bodies, industry, academia, and civil society from all around the world.
Our Head of Partnerships, Hannah Babineau, will be at the Geospatial World Forum (GWF) as one of the Regional & Multilateral Agency speakers during the Convergence of Location Data and Personalization in Data-Driven Marketing session on 4 May from 1:45 pm – 3:00 pm.
Geospatial Caravan: Embracing One & All
This year’s theme is Geospatial Caravan: Embracing One & All, and throughout these four days, speakers and participants alike will explore how geospatial data can help resolve technological, institutional, and workflow challenges and how it can be used not just to make better decisions, but also to make society a better place for all.
With top-level attendees across more than 700 organisations, 70 countries, 1500+ in-person delegates and 300+ speakers — this year’s GWF is an unmissable opportunity to join the conversation and learn the latest about geospatial data, create new connections, and engage in valuable networking opportunities.
Retail and Commerce: Driving innovation with location intelligence
One of the topics covered throughout the event will be location data and the opportunities it can unlock for businesses across all their decision-making processes.
With the 2020-2021 health crisis mainly in the world’s rear-view mirror, businesses are looking for the most effective ways to return their operations back to normal, mitigate any long-term effects, and adapt to the ever-changing customer preferences and needs to maintain their competitive edge.
This means there’s never been a better time for businesses to analyse location intelligence data. Through data about customer demographics and behaviour, retailers can better understand their current customers and target audience while aligning their business strategy to their needs and preferences — leading to better and forward-looking business decisions.
