Impact Deal 2022 edition – the results
As many as 40 applications were received in 2022 from impact enterprises from 8 countries operating in different sectors: Smart Environment, Smart Cities, IoT, Logistic/Supply Chain, Digital Consciousness, Human Resources Services, Open Innovation, AI, Cultural Heritage, Food, Health, Medical Care, Agriculture, Augmented Mobility, Vehicles and Energy solutions.
There were 12 companies that participated in the first phase of the project, including 7 from Italy and 5 from abroad (from UK, Denmark, Portugal, Switzerland).
Among them only a portion were selected for phase 2: Alba Robot, The Newsroom, Pinbike, Virtuosis, Wiseair, Open Impact, Aroundrs.
These companies obtained numerous opportunities for visibility and achieved excellent results both during the course and in the months that followed.
The phases of the acceleration program
After the call for Impact Enterprises, Corporates and Organizations, the selected European companies will access the hybrid acceleration program (face-to-face or online), which is divided into two phases.
- The first phase, around two months, will consist of training for specific skills in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and entrepreneurship.
- The second phase, around 3 months, will support companies focusing on accelerating their business through the development of real projects and solutions, enabled by data and with the mentorship of strategic collaborations.
The differentiating factor of Impact Deal is the Data Club, which Data Appeal has joined. This ‘club’ consists of companies and organizations graciously supporting the acceleration of participants by offering their datasets in a collaborative perspective with the aim of generating a constructive and beneficial social and environmental impact.
The second phase will end with a Demo Day in which accelerated companies will showcase their progress to an audience of potential investors with a particular vocation for impact investing.
