Travelport global accelerator program

Renowned tourism conglomerate and travel retail platform, Travelport, has launched a global accelerator program in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), dedicated to addressing the travel industry’s biggest retailing challenges.

Over 100 tech startups, scaleups and innovators entered the competition with hopes of tackling a series of travel marketing challenges, from sustainability, data protection, hyper-personalization and customer acquisition. After review, those companies were shortlisted to ten and offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pitch their solution to an elite group of judges.

Among this esteemed panel of judges included some of the industries most renowned travel companies across the globe, including Southwest Airlines, American Express Global Business Travel, Priceline, Internova Travel Group, Direct Travel and Christopherson Business Travel.Southwest Airlines,

Equal parts Data, Innovation and Passion

Data Appeal advanced to the finals with our pitch of Data Appeal Studio, the first, all-inclusive Location Intelligence, Experience Intelligence and Destination Analysis platform.

Our platform enables destination managers, tourism boards and travel businesses to understand any location, anywhere in the world – from a single road to an entire country. We’re very excited to further expand our mission – supporting and empowering DMOs, tourism boards and organizations to become data driven.

Data Appeal is joined by five other finalists from around the world, including Taguchi Marketing, Everymundo, Adobe, Dynamo Video and Stackla. After the final round of pitches during the first week of November, three winners will be revealed.
