The Pride Effect: Measuring Tourism and Economic Impact Across Europe
This report, developed in collaboration with Queer Destinations, dives deep into Pride-related events in Amsterdam, Madrid, London, and Cologne—the four cities with the highest expected attendance and incremental tourism economic impact across six top European destinations: the United Kingdom, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy.
In recent years, Pride events have become major international draws: festivals, concerts and parades stretching over several weeks. For DMOs and tourism boards genuinely investing in a culture of inclusivity, they represent a concrete opportunity for economic growth and visibility.
