During the 2024 Nit del Turisme gala, in which renowned personalities such as Rafael Nadal and Sergio Llul were also awarded, our founder and CEO, Santi Camps, looked back to 11 years of history of this company, born in Menorca and now present in more than 40 countries, championing the application of artificial intelligence and data analysis for the global tourism industry.
We are proud to share that our company received the Tourism Innovation Award granted by the Government of the Balearic Islands, a prize that recognizes people, companies, and institutions that contribute to the Balearic Islands travel & tourism image and services, and that are relevant to the development and growth of this industry with a global reach.
Santi Camps, our founder and CEO, collected this award, presented during the gala of the Nit del Turisme 2024, hosted by the Consell de Mallorca and the Fundació Mallorca Turisme. In a video projected during the event, Camps thanked this prestigious award and reviewed the history of this company, specialized in tourist intelligence based on AI. Founded in 2013 in Menorca, where the company maintains its headquarters, we are currently present in more than 40 countries, with delegations in Barcelona and Dubai.
“This award, which recognizes our trajectory, also reflects the innovative spirit of Menorca, Balearic Islands as benchmarks for the global tourism industry”, a sector that represents approximately 40% of the Balearic economy (according to CaixaBank data) and 13% of Spain’s GDP.
“In its origins, Mabrian played a key role in driving the transcendental change that meant placing artificial intelligence and data analysis at the centre of strategic decisions in tourism, which has translated, eleven years later, into a tourism management model based on contextualised, measurable, and updated knowledge of the reality and the environment.”

Our founder showed his appreciation for all who are part of Mabrian’s mission, that “has been possible thanks to a committed team, and the support of our families and many small Menorcan investors who believed in us”. He underlined the company’s commitment to “fostering entrepreneurship from our island, and to attracting and retaining talent” to Menorca and to the Balearic Islands, while continuing “creating a differentiation value for tourism” through technology and innovation.
Marga Prohens, President of the Balearic Islands Government, who chaired the event, said during her speech that “today, Mabrian represents the relevance of technologies applied to tourism” in the Balearic Islands, as well as the leadership fostered from this Spanish region the rest of the world. “We have a genuine travel tech Silicon Valley in our islands,” she stressed.

Mabrian received this award at a ceremony that also recognised other people and entities that contribute to tourism in the Balearic Islands and around the world, such as the Balearic athletes Rafael Nadal (tennis) and Sergio Llul (basketball), recipients of the Tourism Ambassadors Award; or the hotel entrepreneurs Miquel Amengual (Mac Hotels) and Miquel Ramis (Garden Hotels), celebrated for their professional careers. At the Nit del Turisme 2024, the employability programmes of Divergent Formentera and Fundació de Persones amb Discapacitat de Menorca were also recognised with the CSR award.
