{"id":2521,"date":"2021-09-07T10:28:50","date_gmt":"2021-09-07T10:28:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mabrian.com\/?p=2521"},"modified":"2026-06-30T11:53:34","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T11:53:34","slug":"wtm-latin-america","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/datappeal.io\/es\/wtm-latin-america\/","title":{"rendered":"Los datos no son la respuesta"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El pasado mes de agosto tuvo lugar uno de los eventos m\u00e1s importantes de la industria tur\u00edstica: la World Travel Market Latin America.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La edici\u00f3n de este a\u00f1o -que tuvo el desaf\u00edo, como muchos otros eventos, de reunir a los principales l\u00edderes de la industria de manera virtual- estuvo particularmente orientado a la tecnolog\u00eda, con diferentes charlas centradas en torno a las tecnolog\u00edas que los diferentes pa\u00edses est\u00e1n utilizando para avanzar y garantizar la resistencia permanente de sus destinos y proveedores de servicios tur\u00edsticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carlos Cendra, Director de Marketing y Ventas de Mabrian Technologies, imparti\u00f3 una conferencia sobre el uso de la tecnolog\u00eda y la anal\u00edtica de datos avanzada en el sector tur\u00edstico con el objetivo de globalizar el uso de informaci\u00f3n contextual en el proceso de la toma de decisiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Una de las principales reflexiones de su panel fue que \u201clos Datos no son la soluci\u00f3n\u201d para afrontar los retos actuales en la industria del turismo, apelando al sector a centrarse en el conocimiento procesable basado en informaci\u00f3n en tiempo real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Data Is Not The Answer - Carlos Cendra - Mabrian Technologies\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nnBpE8npAdM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El contexto actual de pandemia ha puesto en la agenda del sector la necesidad de ser \u00e1giles y resilientes para afrontar la crisis actual, e incluso salir de ella en una posici\u00f3n de ventaja. Y la soluci\u00f3n est\u00e1 en el buen uso de la \u201cInteligencia Tur\u00edstica\u201d seg\u00fan Cendra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para ello es necesario ayudar a los destinos y compa\u00f1\u00edas tur\u00edsticas proporcion\u00e1ndoles informaci\u00f3n global y actualizada, basada en un an\u00e1lisis de m\u00faltiples fuentes de informaci\u00f3n, que permita identificar las din\u00e1micas tur\u00edsticas actuales y tratar de anticipar las pr\u00f3ximas. <s><\/s><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tomando como ejemplo la eterna analog\u00eda del arte de la cocina, el trigo es el ingrediente base del pan, pero por si solo es no lo podemos usar para nutrirnos<s>.<\/s>Pero una vez que molemos y tratamos el trigo, obtenemos harina, con la que se puede obtener un producto con valor a\u00f1adido y digerible: el pan. Algo similar ocurre con los datos, que sin un proceso de tratado, refinado, an\u00e1lisis e interpretaci\u00f3n, no nos sirven para nutrir nuestras decisiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero cuando la informaci\u00f3n se enriquece con diferentes fuentes de datos y se analiza de forma cruzada utilizando las herramientas y procesos correctos, la informaci\u00f3n puede convertirse en \u00abconocimiento\u00bb. En otras palabras, en Inteligencia Tur\u00edstica.
