{"id":10250,"date":"2023-08-02T11:27:47","date_gmt":"2023-08-02T11:27:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mabrian.com\/?p=10250"},"modified":"2026-06-30T11:54:15","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T11:54:15","slug":"europa-podria-ahorrar-1-millon-de-toneladas-de-co2-al-ano-sustituyendo-los-vuelos-nacionales-por-el-ferrocarril","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/datappeal.io\/es\/europa-podria-ahorrar-1-millon-de-toneladas-de-co2-al-ano-sustituyendo-los-vuelos-nacionales-por-el-ferrocarril\/","title":{"rendered":"Europa podr\u00eda ahorrar 1 mill\u00f3n de toneladas de CO2 al a\u00f1o sustituyendo los vuelos nacionales por el ferrocarril"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>P<\/strong><strong>otencial sustituci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 550 rutas a\u00e9reas nacionales de 500km o menos por trenes de alta velocidad m\u00e1s eficientes.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ahorro de CO2 y reducci\u00f3n de la contaminaci\u00f3n en distancias cortas transportando 44 millones de pasajeros este a\u00f1o.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Espa\u00f1a, Alemania, y Francia, los pa\u00edses con&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>m\u00e1s<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;oportunidad de ahorro de emisiones de CO2 en Europa.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hemos realizado un estudio sobre el potencial impacto que conllevar\u00eda reemplazar los trayectos a\u00e9reos nacionales de menos de dos horas y media, y con un m\u00e1ximo de 500km, por trenes de alta velocidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En este estudio se analiza el ahorro en emisiones de CO2 si la normativa, que ya ha empezado a implantarse en Francia, se implantara en m\u00faltiples pa\u00edses europeos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan el informe, que ha analizado la programaci\u00f3n a\u00e9rea total del a\u00f1o 2023 en rutas nacionales con distancias terrestres menores a 500km, en Europa hay 554 rutas con estas caracter\u00edsticas, que transportar\u00e1n a unos 44 millones de viajeros y que producir\u00e1n alrededor de 2,3 millones de toneladas de CO2 al a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-ES-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10255\" srcset=\"https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-ES-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-ES-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-ES-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-ES.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Debido a su mayor eficiencia en t\u00e9rminos de emisiones, el uso de trenes de alta velocidad podr\u00eda reducir este impacto ambiental en una media del 48%. Esto se traducir\u00eda en un ahorro de m\u00e1s de 1 mill\u00f3n de toneladas de CO2 en s\u00f3lo un a\u00f1o, lo que equivale a m\u00e1s de 200.000 coches circulando ininterrumpidamente durante 12 meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para el c\u00e1lculo comparativo de las emisiones, Mabrian ha tenido en cuenta el tipo de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica y sus fuentes, que alimentan el sistema ferroviario en cada uno de los pa\u00edses europeos, siguiendo la metodolog\u00eda publicada por informe&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ecopassenger.hafas.de\/hafas-res\/download\/Ecopassenger_Methodology_Data.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EcoPassenger<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto plantea una ambiciosa transici\u00f3n hacia una movilidad sostenible que implica la adopci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas limpias y verdes. Algunos pa\u00edses destacan por encima de otros en estas pol\u00edticas. Alemania, por ejemplo, ha invertido en la modernizaci\u00f3n de su infraestructura ferroviaria y en la adoptaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas m\u00e1s limpias que fomenten el uso del tren como alternativa m\u00e1s sostenible al transporte a\u00e9reo; reduciendo as\u00ed las emisiones del carbono. Suecia, tambi\u00e9n ha sido pionera en para aplicar energ\u00eda renovables, como la hidroel\u00e9ctrica y la e\u00f3lica en sus transportes ferroviario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El estudio revela cinco de los pa\u00edses europeos que obtendr\u00edan un mayor ahorro de CO2 si se produjera esta transici\u00f3n. En primer lugar, se encuentra Espa\u00f1a, con un potencial ahorro de de 360.000 toneladas de CO2 al a\u00f1o si se sustituyeran estas rutas por trenes de alta velocidad; Alemania, en segundo lugar, con un ahorro de 238.000 toneladas; Francia con 193.000 toneladas, Italia con 189.000 toneladas; y Suecia con 159.000 toneladas al a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-lista-ES.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10251\" srcset=\"https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-lista-ES.jpg 720w, https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-lista-ES-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-lista-ES-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/datappeal.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/europa-short-haul-lista-ES-140x140.jpg 140w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En cambio, en t\u00e9rminos relativos, los tres pa\u00edses con mayor potencial de ahorro de CO2 ante esta transici\u00f3n al ferrocarril son Suecia, con un 97,13% sobre el total de CO2 producido por aviones al a\u00f1o. Austria con un 92,79%, y Francia con un 89,73%. De hecho, Francia ha sido el pa\u00eds pionero en aplicar esta medida a las rutas a\u00e9reas de corta distancia desde Orly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todo este an\u00e1lisis se ha centrado \u00fanicamente en las rutas a\u00e9reas dom\u00e9sticas dentro de cada pa\u00eds, por lo que desde Mabrian indican que el potencial ahorro ser\u00eda mucho mayo si se considerasen tambi\u00e9n todas aquellas rutas a\u00e9reas de 500km o menos que unen diferentes pa\u00edses de Europa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El estudio indica tambi\u00e9n la importancia de analizar varios aspectos que no son del todo favorecedores hacia este cambio. El coste de implementaci\u00f3n de la infraestructura ferroviaria para cubrir todas estas rutas, requerir\u00eda una inversi\u00f3n significativa, por lo que es posible que no todos los pa\u00edses dispongan de los recursos necesarios para financiarla. Tambi\u00e9n habr\u00eda que considerar la rentabilidad a largo plazo y la capacidad de estas nuevas infraestructuras para absorber una demanda muy importante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> \u201cAunque este an\u00e1lisis pueda parecer poco realista o inalcanzable, en Mabrian creemos en demostrar la eficiencia de las decisiones a trav\u00e9s de los datos. Con este an\u00e1lisis, hemos cuantificado el ahorro potencial de dar pasos en esa direcci\u00f3n.
